I thought I'd try my luck at taping Veronica saying the letters that she knows... I was pretty lucky - she said 4 out of 5 correctly! You may have to turn up the volume to hear her. This is actually the first time I have sat down with her to go over letter names... She's learned them mostly from our "Fridge Phonics" by Leap Frog, listening to me teach Josephine and Maureen, and probably from looking at all her books every day!

Hi - I missed the voting! First time I've turned on the old computer in about a week; still have a terrific cough, but am feeling much better. I'm hoping the cough is gone by Friday, as I'm supposed to go to the hospital Friday with my group from church with Holy Communion for the Catholic patients. Enjoyed the pictures and videos; little Veronica is going to be just as smart as her two older sisters! Also enjoyed the nailart and hairstyles. I was never any good at all at making braids. Your's looked very neat and tidy! Jennifer, did your sister tell you she taught religion class at Bishop McLaughlin one day last week? I asked her if she learned anything and the brat said no! Honestly! Today she did p.e. at one of the public schools (she says the public schools serve much better lunch food). I guess since the poor taxpayers (even those who don't use the schools!) pay for the public schools, they can buy better stuff and serve a bigger variety! Oh well. Now if they could serve up a little discipline and common decency - ! That would violate some law, I'm sure! Got to go - love you. Mommie
